The company started in 1905 as a “vennootschap onder firma”. The company name was “Firma Kool en Wildeboer”. Company started with cement roof tiles, sewer pipes and so on and later switched to concrete constructions. In 1917 converted to a “naamloze vennootschap” called Betonbouw.
Klaas Kool was co-owner of the company. In 1917 he was commissioner of the company. It is unknown for how long he stayed commissioner.
They were the first company that build a concrete bridge in the Netherlands according to a magazine in 1923.
